Getting to create all the fun things that happen at camp – we get to be big kids every day!

The Teddy Bear’s Picnic! It’s just so cute and I love hearing the STARCAMPer’s little stories about their teddy and what makes them so special to them.
3.Book, Movie or Musical that left a lasting impression?
Wicked for sure! I saw it on Broadway in New York and was speechless.
4.If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
My perfectly organised fridge!
5.Favourite Disney character?
It was always Belle from Beauty and the Beast growing up! I am also very fond of Winnie the Pooh.
6.Fav saying that you want the world to hear?
“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken”.
7.If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
Time Travel! I would love to go back and be there when they discovered chocolate and coffee!
8. What makes STARCAMP so magical?
It’s the feeling you get when you walk in on the first morning, and you just know every leader’s number one goal is to make the children feel amazing – that’s pretty special!

Working with such an amazing team of people every day and hearing how much fun children have had at camp

Anyone who knows me knows Zombie by the Cranberries is my go-to Karaoke song

My all-time favourite musical is Les Miserables

I LOVE Tinkerbelle and Jasmine.
5. If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
Most likely as an Irish Marie Condo type person who goes around organising messy homes. THE DREAM!!
6. Major Dislikes?
Mess and disorganisation are my biggest pet hates.

THE SHOW STOPPER without a doubt. Seeing the kids sing and dance their hearts out is amazing.

The amazing leaders and managers who make children feel so special every day is what truly makes STARCAMP magical. Every child leaves feeling SUPER!

1.Best thing about being part of the STARCAMP crew?
It’s just like a big family – Bubbly and day is full of fun and laughter.
2. Book, Movie or Musical that left a lasting impression?
Love Mrs. Doubtfire – Nothing stops her.
3. If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
Comedian. I am kinda the joker in the bunch.

I’d be one of the dwarfs – Either HAPPY or Dopey!
5. What advice would you give to someone nervous about performing for the first time?
Pretend your a super hero and you have super powers and no1 round you can make you feel otherwise.
6. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
As I always sign off my emails I’m the Happy camper! Love making people happy and turning the frown upside down!
7. Greatest Achievement to date?
Having my now 8 year old daughter

Hubby snoring or someone chewing really loud.

The best thing about being part of the STARCAMP crew to me is getting to work with such a fabulous team every day.

I’m obsessed with Legally Blonde the movie. It would be a dream of mine to see the musical version.

Anything ABBA! If I had to pick one I’d have to choose Mamma Mia

Rapunzel from Tangled!!

I love “All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to purse them” Walt Disney.
6. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
I’d have to pick the ability to fly as my superpower. I think it would be so much fun and I wouldn’t get stuck in traffic which would be a massive bonus!!!

I love the Talent Show! I think it’s amazing how every child has the chance to go up and show off their fabulous talents.
8. What makes STARCAMP so magical?
There are so many things that contribute to making STARCAMP so magical. The incredible staff and managers are a massive factor. I also think that it is down to the STARCAMPERs themself! Their infectious energy, funny jokes, and their happiness to name a few things.

“My favourite part of working with STARCAMP is being on-site at the camps every summer, meeting so many amazing little STARCAMPers every day. I love hearing their funny jokes, seeing their cool costumes, and watching their incredible talents shine during the talent show!”

“My favourite camp activity is the Teddy Bears’ Picnic! It’s such a fun opportunity to head outside with our favourite teddies, listen to music, and enjoy the sunshine.”

“Matilda left a lasting impression on me with its mischief, music, and message that even the smallest can do extraordinary things. It’s a whirlwind of fun that had me smiling for days!”

“Mickey Mouse is my favourite Disney character because he was the first one I met at Euro Disney-it’s a memory I’ll never forget!”

1. Best thing about being part of the STARCAMP crew?
It’s a great team and I’ve made lifelong friends, big and small, throughout the years!
2. Favourite STARCAMP Activity?
Talent show for sure! I love seeing groups come together to make a dance routine or shy children telling a little joke or the ‘out of this world’ talents that I will never have!
3. If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
I am famous… I’m STARCAMP Nicole! 😊

5. What advice would you give to someone nervous about performing for the first time?
It’s Okay to Feel Nervous, Feeling nervous means you care, and that’s a good thing! Imagine those butterflies in your tummy are helping you fly on stage.
6. Greatest Achievement to date?
Performance wise it’s definitely having performed in Euro Disney multiple times!
7. Major Dislikes?
Am I allowed say soccer lol – takes over the TV in my house!
8. What makes STARCAMP so magical?
Besides me, it would have to be the kids! I love their smiling faces and the enthusiasm they bring each day! Each one so unique and different. Without them there would be no magic!

I adore working with STARCAMP as magical as it is for the children I would say it’s just as magical for us as employees!
2. Advice you would give your younger self?
I would tell myself to not be afraid of putting myself out there! Don’t shy away from opportunities like STARCAMP as it could be a core memory for you as an adult!
3. If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
I would be famous for making myself laugh a lot! Laughter is after all, the best medicine!
4. Favourite STARCAMP Activity?
This is impossible to choose! All the activity’s have a sole purpose of building confidence that’s rooted in having fun!!
5. Book, Movie or Musical that left a lasting impression?
My childhood teddy is Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and since Christopher Robin came out in 2018 I’d say I have watched it 20 times!! It’s my all time favourite movie!!

If there’s any trad music on, be prepared for me to whip out a reel or a jig!!
7. What advice would you give to someone nervous about performing for the first time?
Think about how you will feel after! The after feeling is unmatched and that will keep motivating you to do it again!

The atmosphere, staff and children! Theres nothing like it… Nothing!!!
AIDEEN O’ GRADY
1.Best thing about being part of the STARCAMP crew?
The STARCAMP crew have a common goal of wanting to spread positivity, love and joy while making children feel very special! We get to make a difference, what could be better than that?
2.Favourite STARCAMP Activity?
That’s like asking me to pick a favourite child! I do love our “Public speaking in disguise” activities such as STARCAMP AM, news presenting or magic, whereby the kids are stand up and speak or perform in front of their peers without realising, all while being praised and made to feel great. This breaks down inhibitions and benefits them for life!
3.Book, Movie or Musical that left a lasting impression?
Annie! Cos you’re never fully dressed without a smile and sometimes it is a hard knock life but… the sun will come out tomorrow!
4.If you were to be famous, what would it be for?
When I do receive my Oscar, it will be for writing, producing and starring in my own movie (oh and I’ll also write the score and soundtrack, for which I’ll receive a grammy). You heard it here first!
5.What advice would you give to someone nervous about performing for the first time?
(1)Nerves are a superpower. They show that you care and they keep you sharp! (2)You’ll always regret what you don’t do, never what you do do!
(3) Don’t be afraid to mess up, people will like you more if you do 😉

“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they make the best of everything!”
7.Greatest Achievement to date?
Apart from having my 4 amazing babies, creating STARCAMP would be up there!
